Mr. Johnson is a lifelong resident of Pickens County and is excited to get another school year rolling at Pickens High School.  Mr. Johnson attended Jacksonville State University as well as Reinhardt University and is entering his eighth year teaching math.  He has experience teaching sixth grade math, eighth grade math and social studies, as well as high school level math.  He was also fortunate enough to be chosen by his colleagues as the Pickens Junior High School Teacher of the Year during his time as a middle school teacher.  Mr. Johnson serves as one of the PHS eSports coaches and most certainly has a passion for video games in his free time.  He also enjoys playing and listening to music, cheering on the Atlanta Braves and Falcons, and rewatching Star Wars.  Mr. Johnson also has two cats named Annie and Gus who he very much enjoys spending time with outside of the classroom.  It's going to be a great year!  GO DRAGONS!
