Happy Graduation Week Dragon Nation! It is our honor to celebrate and honor our PHS Class of 2025 at their Graduation Ceremony on Friday, May 23rd, at 7pm in our own Dragon Football Stadium. PHS Class of 2025, YOUR graduation week is finally here! Please use the below information to help guide you through this week's activities



Please join us on Sunday, May 18th, at 6pm for the Class of 2025 Baccalaureate Service at Jasper First Baptist Church. All are welcomed to attend this non-denominational service to send our graduates off with a message of both hope and purpose.

Dragon Nation, we are 10 days away from the PHS Class of 2025 Graduation Ceremony that will take place on Friday, May 23rd, at 7pm in the Dragon Football Stadium. See you all there!


Please join us this Wednesday, May 14th, for our Chatt Tech Awards and Career Signing Night at PHS in the PAC at 6pm. We can't wait to continue celebrating the amazing Class of 2025!


Congratulations to our four PHS recipients of the Parade of Homes Scholarship! Noah Thrasher, Mason White, Wyatt Richards, and Coleman Keener received $11,000 each at the POH Banquet on May 9th to pursue their post-secondary goals. We are so proud of each of you!


To ensure a smooth and timely conclusion to the school year and final day of school, as well as efficient transportation for both students and graduation attendees, we will release two hours early on Friday, May 23rd, for all students across the district.
New Dismissal Times for Friday, May 23rd:
• Pickens High School and Pickens Junior High - 12:15 dismissal
• All remaining schools (Harmony, Hill City, Tate and Jasper Middle) - 12:30 dismissal
Graduation will be Friday, May 23rd at 7:00 PM at Pickens High School stadium.
Please note that regular bus routes will run at the earlier dismissal time; buses will then be redeployed to support graduation shuttle services later in the day.


It's time to recognize and celebrate our graduates at our Wednesday, May 7th, PHS Senior Honors Night at 6pm in the PAC at PHS. Invitations were mailed out and Ms. Champion will be sending a follow-up email to all who will be receiving an award and/or scholarship that night. We can't wait to celebrate our graduates on this special night!

Congratulations to Callie Hamby on winning the 2025 Beta Eta Scholarship! Ms. Hamby plans on attending UNG in the fall and majoring in Elementary Education. Thank you to the local chapter of the Delta Kappa Gamma, Beta Eta, for continuing to support our PHS seniors who plan on going into education.


Congratulations to our PHS Class of 2025 recipients of the Big Canoe Chapel Scholarship! Thank you to the BCCS Committee for your continued support of our PHS graduates and their post-secondary educational goals.


Sources of Strength Peer Leaders will be facilitated the “What Helps Me” Campaign during all of the lunch blocks today. This campaign is designed to figure out ways to manage Anger, Anxiety, or Sadness with healthy coping strategies. PHS students identified sources they use to respond to negative emotions in a positive way
