IMPORTANT GRADE RECONFIGURATION INFORMATION - As you know, PCSD is reconfiguring its grade structure in 2027-28 (next year). Parents/guardians of elementary students should go to their Parent Portal in Infinite Campus to confirm or appeal their student’s placement by October 31st. This morning, the Pickens Sheriff’s Office was notified of an online threat directed at Pickens County High School. School officials placed the campus in a soft lockdown while deputies investigated. Deputies worked with state and federal partners and determined that the threat was made online from out of state. Our partners confirmed that similar threats have recently been made to other schools. Based on the investigation, there is no viable threat to students or the school. Additional deputies will remain on campus for the remainder of the day as a precaution. We appreciate the cooperation of school officials, students, and families. Anyone with information relevant to the threat should contact the Pickens Sheriff’s Office. We will share further information if needed.

Online Payments are now available through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal
Online payments are a simple, safe and secure way to make payments to your student's account 24 hours a day at your convenience.
You can add payments through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Payments can be made with credit card or electronic check. Credit cards will include a processing fee. A minimal transaction fee of .35 cents will be added to each electronic check transaction.
Parents are able to view student account balances, purchases and payment history online, and even receive low balance alerts, or enroll in autopay. You do not have to make prepayments to use many of these features.

On the school calendar for the 2025-2026 school year, the last day of school on Friday, May 22nd is a half day. This was done to ensure a smooth and timely conclusion to the school year, as well as efficient transportation for both students and graduation attendees for the Class of 2026's graduation ceremony that evening.

Pickens High School and Pickens Junior High will have a 11:15 dismissal.
All remaining schools (Harmony, Hill City, Tate and Jasper Middle) will have a 11:30 dismissal.
Graduation will be Friday, May 22nd at 7:00 PM at Pickens High School stadium.
