Good Morning Tate Families,
Kindergarten registration is open. If you have a child who will be 5 on or by September 1st, please make sure you get them registered as soon as possible.

On Monday, April 8th, 2024, a solar eclipse will pass over North America. While we will only experience a partial eclipse here in Pickens County, it remains a chance for students to observe this celestial phenomenon.
With safety as a priority, and with the partial eclipse occurring during dismissal, we will be providing approved solar eclipse glasses with the ISO filter approved by NASA.
Some important things to note:
Monday the 8th is a normal school day, and the first day back from spring break. Parents who wish to check their child(ren) out early may follow normal checkout procedures for an excused absence.
Extra-curricular and after-school activities will be indoors until 4:00 on 4/8/2024.
Please emphasize the importance of not looking directly at the sun without wearing the provided solar eclipse glasses. Regular sunglasses, tinted windows, or looking out of a regular car or bus window will not provide adequate protection and can cause eye damage.
If you have any questions, please contact your school. For more information please visit NASA solar eclipse safety and Total solar eclipse 2024.

Mrs. Mallory, We see how much you believe in your kiddos and it shows in how they look at you.
We love you and no one deserves staff member of the month more than you. Congratulations!

Happy Birthday to Mr. Stephens. We hope you have a great birthday and enjoy your week off.

Happy Assistant Principal week next week to our very own Superhero Mrs. Long. As Mr. Stephens said on your announcement today, "Not only are you the best in the district, you are the best in Georgia."
We love you! Tate wouldn't be the same without you.

For the month of March, Campus Law Enforcement Officer Poulos has chosen Charlie Wells as the Campus Law Enforcement Student of the Month. Charlie was nominated by his teacher Mrs. Shostak. Charlie is always a kind friend and willing to help. He is a model student who has progressed in his learning this school year. Mrs. Shostak is very grateful to have Charlie in her class! That is very commendable behavior. Charlie is determined to make a difference. Congratulations Charlie!

Just a reminder that all schools and the district office will be closed next week, April 1st – 5th for Spring Break. We wish our students, staff, and their families a safe and restful week off.
