About Me:

This is my seventh year at Pickens High School and my 19th year as a teacher.  I attended Georgia Southern University and the University of West Georgia where I received my B.S.Ed in Social Science and Secondary Education.  In 2011, I received my MA.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from American College of Education.  I completed by Ed.S in Curriculum & Instruction from Piedmont College in 2020.

In addition to teaching AP Psychology and AP Microeconomics, I am the advisor for the PHS Student Government Association and our newly formed Key Club.  Key Club is an organization I am passionate about,therefore I am really excited to see it starting here at PHS.  Key Club is a service leadership organization which believes in teaching leadership skills to high school students through the practice of service to others.
