Mrs Amy Coleman's Science Classes


Welcome!  I would like to introduce myself as the science department chair and environmental science teacher.  I have been teaching high school science for over 21 years.  Currently my classes include Environmental Science, Honors Environmental Science, and AP Environmental Science..  I have had the pleasure of teaching many other science topics in the past, including biology, physics, physical science, and earth science.  I am an alumni of the University of Georgia and Piedmont College.  My education includes a B.S. in Zoology, a B.S. in Secondary Science Education, and a Masters in Secondary Science Education.  My family, including a husband and two girls, lives in Ball Ground.  I also have a leopard gecko named Loki and a dog named Max.  I enjoy reading, gardening, and pottery.

1st period - AP Environmental Science

2nd period - planning

3rd period - Honors Environmental Science

4th period - Honors Environmental Science
