About Mrs. Harbin

I am pleased to be starting my second year at PHS! This is my 15th year in education. Previously, I have taught high school chorus and drama in Gilmer County and in Paulding County.

After graduating from Mount Zion High School in Jonesboro, GA in 2001, I went to the University of Georgia where I played in the Georgia Redcoat Band, sang with the UGA Concert Choir, Classic City Jazz and the UGA SOM Opera. I graduated in 2006 with my degree in music education, and have since put on countless musicals, shows, concerts and travelled all over the US with my fine arts groups! My choirs consistently earned marks of superior and excellent in sight reading and performance at GMEA LGPE and my thespians have earned great marks in their performances at Georgia Thespian Conference and GHSA One Act Competition.

When I am not busy at school, I play piano and conduct the choir at Hope Lutheran Church in Ellijay and love to spend time with my husband Patrick and daughter Sally.

I am excited to work with you this year!
