Alan Dukes

I am Alan Dukes. I have been teaching/coaching at the high school level for over 30 years and this is my 5th year at Pickens High School. I have a bachelor's degree in secondary education from Tennessee Temple University, a master's degree in educational administration from Georgia State University, and a specialist degree in curriculum and instruction from Piedmont University.
I have been Georgia state certified since 1996. I have worked within the general education, special education, and administrative fields all of these years and therefore have a unique perspective to bring to each new relationship. I currently co-teach within the social studies and math departments. Every student has distinctive abilities and challenges and it will be my goal to learn how to best serve each one of them.
