Tim Baisden, Assistant Principal
Hello students, parents, family, and friends. My name is Mr. Baisden and I am the Career, Technical and Agricultural Education (CTAE) Director and Assistant Principal at Pickens High School. I would like to take this opportunity to share with you about myself. I was born in Michigan and graduated from Stockbridge High School in Stockbridge, MI.
My formal education was acquired from various schools within the Stockbridge Community School District. I attended Katz Elementary, Stockbridge Middle, and Stockbridge High School. After graduating from high school, I worked as a Drafting Engineer designing parts for Chrysler Transmissions before deciding to go into Education. I attended Eastern Michigan University where I obtained my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Technology and Design Education in 2000. I later earned a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership also from Eastern Michigan University and then an Educational Specialist Degree in Brain-Based Education from Nova Southeastern University.
My professional teaching endeavors in the education field began when I started teaching in 1994. I consider my professional experience in education to be well rounded. I have served in different capacities within several different levels. I started out as a Paraprofessional at the Elementary level where I worked with Special Needs Children while completing my Education Degree. I have been a teacher at the Middle and High School level teaching Technology and Engineering as well as being an administrator at Elementary, Middle and High School levels.
I now proudly serve as the CTAE Director/Assistant Principal at Pickens High School, where I hope to continue to make a positive impact in students' academic achievements and attainment to a life long love for learning.
